So last year there was a story going around on blogs and instagram that my husband and i met online after ive deleted him like 1000 times and what not😅. Im here to set that story straight so stay tuned.
The story that went viral was actually created by my brother. The original post was made by my brother not my husband. Honestly i still dont understand why a silly story like that would go viral😂.
The truth is i’ve actually known him for a while before we started dating. He was friends with my uncle and aunties which I realized after we started dating. I met him first when he came with my ex to see me, apparently they were friends.
It was roughly around march 2011 that we started talking on twitter and we became friends. He liked me then but couldnt make a move because i had a boyfriend. (Thank God he didnt because i wouldve messed it up).
We stopped talking when my boyfriend of that time cheated on me and he knew about it but didnt tell me . (I think he wanted me to find out on my own so that when he asks me out i wont reject him for breaking off my previous relationship. Lol) . So i buzzed him up and asked why he hid it from me when he obviously knew it happened. He denied knowledge of everything and even said my proof was all bluff. I then decided to just stop talking to him because he was just like every other normal guy to me at that time.
So on a cold November morning 2013 in Cairo i got a skype call from Ak (my husband). I wasnt going to answer it but i did cause we havent spoken in like 3years. I answered and he told me he couldnt get a hold of me from twitter, bbm and even my phone numbers werent going through. Told him i changed them. He kept on calling me day by day and i started crushing on him (that time he was a hot cake and still is 😜). He told me that when i get back home he’ll come over to see my sister (mind you she was 9 at that time so i knew he wanted to come and see me but i went with it like that).
March 2014, my aunt got married and he was invited. I ditched him through out the wedding. On 1st April he called on my phone and asked to see me that night because he was traveling. I agreed and yeah we met.
So this guy now started toasting me with his wack pick up lines. He then said to me “Honestly ive been catching feelings for you recently so i thought to come and get them off my chest.” I was like “okay. How? Why?. He replied ” I just did. And i would love to take things further. So will you be my girlfriend?”
I was shook and deep down i was happy because i never ‘hespered it’ (expected it). I kept my cool and said to him ill think about it. He now looked at me and said im not going anywhere until you give me an answer and no isnt one. I laughed and said then lets give it a try. This guy now said “its from trial that airplanes flew” 😂. He left and we started dating.
He would take me out, sometimes on double dates with his friends or mine. We had a really cool relationship and boom! We are married with a kid. So yeah thats how we met. Oh and i used to delete him off my bbm not because i didn’t like him but because maybe i sent a message i shouldn’t have(like being way too nice that would give off the fact that i liked him) or because i didn’t want him to see my dp.
